Midshipman Ministry:  One of the most enduring aspects of our history is our ministry to the Brigade of Midshipmen, which goes back to 1949, when faculty members at the U.S. Naval  Academy (USNA) laid the foundation for our congregation. 

Worship on the Yard:  Working in cooperation with the Naval Academy’s Chaplain’s Office, we provide Sunday morning worship services for plebes during the summers and lead Tuesday night Bible Studies during the academic year.

Hosting and Sponsorship:  Our members often officially sponsor or unofficially “adopt” midshipmen, providing them with a “home away from home,” home-cooked meals, and a place to rest during their limited free time off the Yard.

Family Support:  We provide a local point of contact and support for the parents of midshipmen.

Missionary Support / Local Evangelism/Community Outreach:  We have Family and Friends Day twice a year and Singings at Assisted Living Centers monthly.

Children’s Ministry:  In addition to Bible classes for children of all ages on Sunday and Wednesday, each year we have a Summer Vacation Bible School (VBS) and a Fall Festival for all ages.

Women’s Ministry:  RefresHERs occur bimonthly and are gatherings for dinner, devotional time, and fellowship; Ladies Bible Class meets on Thursday mornings.

Men’s Ministry:  Prayer Breakfasts bimonthly with a devotional and prayer time, and fellowship.

Widows’ Ministry:  Workdays twice a year

Prayer Days:  Twice a year, continuous prayer sessions on Saturdays 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
