Our Worship

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING OUR WORSHIP SERVICES

We seek to honor God’s presence when we come together in worship.  Our services are filled with praise, scripture, communion, and prayer.  Our goal is to glorify our God while building each other up in faith and focus.  All are welcome.  Come as you are and experience Jesus with us!

Praise

One of the unique things about our worship is that the music is “a cappella,” meaning that we sing without musical instruments.  We love the beauty and joy of worshiping God from our hearts with our voices.  We believe you will find the singing meaningful and uplifting, with everyone invited to participate.

Communion

We share in communion every week. In taking the bread that represents the body of Jesus and the cup that represents his blood, we remember Jesus’ death and celebrate his resurrection.  It is a time of self-reflection and recommitment for members of the Lord’s Church.

The Message

We believe it is important to deliver relevant lessons that are true to God’s word and helpful in guiding our daily lives.  Whether you are young or old, seeking Christ for the first time, or a longtime Christian, there’s something in these lessons for you.

The Offering

We expect our members to support the work of the church financially.  Some give by mailing in checks or setting up regular online contributions online.  An offering plate is passed during services for those who want to contribute in-person.  We do not ask our guests to contribute.  However, if you’d like to do so, we promise to use what you give in a manner that shows our love for God and our commitment to His work.

What About the Kids?

Every member of your family is welcome in our family! We have classes every Sunday for kids from infant through high school. These classes meet at 9:30 AM before worship. An unattended nursery is available for parents to care for their infants and toddlers during our 10:30 AM and 5:30 PM worship times on Sundays and during class time on Wednesday evenings.
